This time of pandemic has illustrated two powerful pictures for us.  One is of the ‘big lies’ that were told around infection, election, health, racism and community safety; and another is of that which we willfully ignored or failed to know: myths and tales manufactured by Q-Anon, conspiracy theories and those who fail to acknowledge the power of data and science.  We’ll focus on the paradox of ignorance and willful ignorance and try to discern the importance of these lessons as we look at a post-pandemic society.
