Flynn McDonnell, JD will discuss how we can make a positive impact through values based investing with the intention to generate measurable social and environmental impact in addition to a financial return. What is Socially-Responsible Investing, Environmental, Social and Governance Investing, and Impact Investing? Investing consciously and purposefully allows one to express beliefs and make a positive impact on the world (e.g., divesting from fossil fuels). Join us for this discussion!

PRESENTER: Flynn McDonnell, JD, Senior Investment Advisor
Flynn is responsible for client advisory and client development within the Boston office of Beacon Pointe Advisors. Flynn has over thirty years of experience advising individuals and families on investing, estate planning and family governance and has held positions on investment and planning committees for various registered investment advisors. Flynn also sits on several non-profit and for-profit advisory boards. Prior to joining Beacon Pointe, Flynn helped establish the family office practice for FTI Consulting where he advised families globally on operations, investing and governance. Flynn spent over 10 years at Fidelity Investments as a Retirement Consultant and a VP, Senior Account Executive in the Private Client Group. Flynn started his professional career at the law firm Forman, Roberts, Klickstein and Levy and has practiced in the fields of Trust and Estates and Corporate Law. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Ithaca College and his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida.
