Adult Learning and Spiritual Connections

Our congregation regularly offers faith development programs for adults focused on deepening our spirituality, aligning our lives with our values, exploring ideas and building community.

The Adult Faith Development Sub-Group of our Faith Development Committee includes Rev. Annie, Doug Muder, and Randi Currier.

Adult Faith Development Programs

Recently, our adult faith development programs have included:

  • Earth Connections program, which explored Braiding Sweetgrass, by Robin Wall Kimmerer, over the course of a year
  • Action Reflection Circles for those working to take concrete actions in line with our values
  • Another World Is Possible workshop, which explored transformative justice
  • Deepening in UU course, which led adults through theological exploration and UU history
  • Trans Inclusion in Congregations course, which focused on welcoming transgender people in our congregations

Small Group Ministry

Small Group Ministry offers another way to explore your values, exchange ideas and find support. These groups of 6–10 adults meet regularly to discuss topics and share about their lives.

If you are interested in joining a small group ministry, please contact Rev. Annie at ministerfaithdev@uubedford.org.
