KidSing is a weekly music and singing time for our children, ages 5-8. This is a time to just sing for enjoyment, and to participate in musical activities including movement and musicianship. Resources will include folk songs, funny songs, and music of many cultures and languages.  Songs representing respect for all peoples and for this planet of which we are caretakers will reflect our Unitarian-Universalist principles. As we did in other years, we will sing from time to time at worship services, yet the focus is on our weekly time together. We plan to combine with the other First Parish Children’s Choirs for special occasions. This ongoing group will meet weekly, building on what we have done the previous weeks. All children’s groups have two adults present, as support for our Safe Children policy.  On a rotating basis, one parent/guardian brings snack and attends the group each week. 

KidSing meets on Thursdays at 3:30 from mid-October until mid-May, and does not meet during the Bedford school vacation weeks. We can often welcome additional people during the year.
