First Parish Bedford UU

The Communications Committee’s purpose is to facilitate communication within the First Parish community and to serve as a conduit of information from First Parish to the outside world.  The committee’s intended role is not to be the voice of the parish, but rather to make that voice heard in a manner consistent with the mission of First Parish and with Unitarian Universalist guiding principles.  

Chair:  Delsey Sherrill

The committee oversees the following communication media, including but not limited to:

• The Parishioner, First Parish’s newsletter
• The First Parish website, http://uubedford.org
• Email lists or online forums for parish-wide announcements and discussion

As such, the committee should work closely with the editor of The Parishioner, the moderator of electronic lists for announcements and discussion, the webmaster, and the Parish Administrator in order to:

• Update and edit content of the above media in a timely fashion
• Arrange for the publication, distribution, and archival of the above media
• Ensure access to the above media for interested members and friends of First Parish
