First Parish in Bedford’s Annual Talents and Treasures Auction

The Auction is just around the corner! Come enjoy food, music and the excellent company of your fellow parishioners all while supporting First Parish.  Help us make this the best Auction yet!

How can I participate?

• Donate a service, an item, labor, lessons, a vacation home – the sky’s the limit!
• Attend the Auction – It’s fabulously fun and childcare will be available.  Watch future Parishioners and this page for details.
• Let us know what you’d like to see offered.  We’ll try to find it!

Can’t attend? Don’t despair! You can still donate items or bid on the items you desire! As the auction approaches, look for our table during coffee hour for details.

What should I donate?
The auction is an opportunity to offer your unique skills and interests to the First Parish Community. Items can be large, small or anything in between.

• Handcrafted jewelry, wood items, quilts, knitwear, art, pottery and photography. Whether of your own design or someone else’s, we appreciate the artistic skills of others!
• Your signature baked good, favorite dinner dish or homemade jams. We love food!
• Yard work, gardening, painting, fix-it work or organization. We have homes that require all kinds of practical help!
• Time in your vacation homes or a beloved B&B. We love to explore, and visit all sorts of locations in all sorts of seasons!
• Dog walking, odd jobs, tutoring, massage, computer assistance, rides to the airport and more. We need services you can provide!
• Group dinners and themed events are always a hit. We love to socialize!
• Lessons in yoga, sewing, iPod programming, or local tours.  We love to learn!
• Have you received a lovely gift basket or certificate that you just can’t use?  We know people who will appreciate them!
• Do you own, work at or frequent a local business? Perhaps they would be willing to make a donation. Let us know and we’ll help!
