Mike & Kathleen traveled to the Mid-East  for the month of October. The first two weeks they were with a biking group called Follow The Women where Kathleen biked  with 128 women from 27 countries. Mike, acting in the role of support staff, followed in the trucks. They biked in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Palestine covering about 300 miles. They visited many villages and Palestinian refugee  camps. On their own for the last two weeks, they traveled in Israel – primarily in Jerusalem – where they looked for the “rest  of the story.”

They will talk about their impressions and conclusions; and about their confusions and discarded illusions.
