But it is truly a loving thing to think through what YOU believe should be the guiding principles for your care, and then to convey those principles to a trusted friend or relative, before a crisis occurs But where do you begin? What are the questions that need to be asked and answered?

Laurie Groves has been a health care social worker for thirty years, working in hospice for the past ten years. She’ll talk about the choices we all face, reviewing documents that have been developed to guide us through this difficult but important process. Copies of these documents (Health Care Proxies, Five Wishes, Caring Conversations and more) will be available for attendees to take home.
