“How We Greet the Day”

In the Hoopa Indian tradition, it is said that we “hum our shadow home” in the morning, each with our own signature song. Our neighbor Henry David Thoreau wrote at the end of Walden, "Only that day dawns to which we are awake." Are you awake today?

Although a goodly number of our church family will be at Ferry Beach on May 10, many of us will be at First Parish, Bedford. If you're attending in town, please consider bringing a picture, or other memento of your mother. These will serve as part of our focal point. Thanks!
