Honestly, haven't you wondered if being a "free thinking, liberated, truth-seeking, love the journey of discovery" member of a UU congregation allows room for patriotism? Or is love of country stuffed off in a remote corner of the dusty remnants of your childhood? Or, even more interestingly, has the ground shifted and a "new patriotism" emerges as our country swings towards a reintroduction to our founding principles. Join Ron Green, Alma Hart, Meredith McCulloch and Anne Larkin as we explore the ideas of love for country. The choir will sing “By Thee With Bliss” from Haydn’s “Creation” as well as Aaron Copland's arrangement of John G. McCurry's “Zion’s Walls”.
